AVAVA has raised $45 million in financing led by Catalio Capital Management to accelerate commercialization, product development and international expansion of its energy-based medical aesthetics platform. The financing includes $30 million in equity and a $15 million debt facility, with participation from new and existing investors.

The company’s technology is built around Focal Point Technology®, designed to deliver energy precisely to targeted areas of the skin while preserving surrounding tissue. The platform is being developed to support customizable treatments across different skin types and treatment areas, with new generations of the technology already undergoing testing.
The funding follows the rollout of AVAVA 2.0, a software upgrade for the company’s platform, and will support further clinical and regulatory programs alongside continued development of its technology pipeline.
AVAVA also plans to expand its commercial organization and international footprint, as it works to bring its energy-based aesthetic technology to more providers and patients globally.
