Evolus has entered an exclusive licensing and distribution agreement with IBSA to develop and commercialize Profhilo® in the United States, expanding its injectable aesthetics portfolio into the growing skin quality segment.

Profhilo is a leading injectable skin quality treatment in Europe, available in more than 70 countries with over 4.8 million treatments performed globally since its 2015 launch. Unlike traditional dermal fillers focused on restoring volume and facial structure, Profhilo uses a unique hyaluronic acid formulation designed to improve hydration, elasticity, and overall skin quality.

The partnership positions Evolus to enter a fast-growing but underdeveloped U.S. category, complementing its existing injectable portfolio and addressing demand for natural-looking, regenerative aesthetic outcomes.

Evolus CEO David Moatazedi said:

“Profhilo® represents an exciting new chapter for Evolus as we expand into skin quality, one of the fastest growing and most innovative segments in injectable aesthetics.”

Under the agreement, Evolus will lead U.S. regulatory activities and commercialization following approval. The company said the partnership supports its strategy to build a broader aesthetics portfolio spanning neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and skin quality treatments.
