CG Bio, a specialist company in bioregenerative medicine, announced on June 9 that it had successfully completed a local launch event for ‘Facestem,’ a calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA)-based collagen booster, in collaboration with BJC, a leading Thai distribution and healthcare company.

BJC is a Thai-listed company with 140 years of history, holding a powerful network that spans healthcare and general distribution. CG Bio plans to leverage BJC’s infrastructure to strengthen academic marketing and fully scale up product supply.

Facestem is currently exported to 32 countries worldwide and ranks second in global CaHA market share. In South Korea and Indonesia, it is distributed under the name ‘Declassy CaHA.’

The event was held over two days, consisting of a train-the-trainer program and an academic symposium. Key Thai medical professionals who participated in the first-day program gave high marks to Facestem’s uniform particle structure and smooth injectability. Of particular note, the LPF (Lattice Pore Filling)-based regenerative mechanism — which induces collagen and elastin production beyond simple volume enhancement — drew concentrated interest from attendees.

On the second day, the symposium featured the sharing of global clinical trends and procedural expertise by treatment area. Professor Rungsima, a leading Thai key opinion leader, emphasized that CaHA is evolving into a regenerative biostimulator and introduced the structural characteristics of Facestem. Domestic and international experts then presented real-world clinical cases and a procedural protocol called ‘CAST CODE,’ covering not only facial areas but also expanded body indications including the neck and hands.

Thailand is recognized as one of the most mature medical aesthetics markets in Southeast Asia, with rapidly growing demand for approaches that simultaneously pursue tissue regeneration and skin improvement. CG Bio intends to continue accumulating clinical data on the strength of the strong interest expressed by local medical professionals confirmed through this event.

Yoo Hyun-seung, Chief Executive Officer of CG Bio, stated, “This launch was an important occasion for Thai medical professionals to directly confirm the clinical value of Facestem,” and added, “We will combine BJC’s local network with our product competitiveness to develop Thailand into a hub for the regenerative aesthetics market in Southeast Asia.”
