Both fillers use Merz Aesthetics’ Cohesive Polydensified Matrix (CPM) gel technology, which combines different gel densities to support integration with surrounding tissue. BELOTERO VOLUME (+) is designed to address age-related midface volume loss, while BELOTERO INTENSE (+) adds temporary lip volume while maintaining movement in the treatment area.

Clinical data cited by the company showed 95% patient satisfaction through 18 months for BELOTERO VOLUME (+). BELOTERO INTENSE (+) reported 100% patient satisfaction at eight weeks, with lip volume maintained through 12 months.

The approvals broaden BELOTERO’s US offering across facial balancing, midface volume restoration and lip enhancement, giving providers additional options within Merz Aesthetics’ injectable portfolio.
