Ourself has released results from an eight-week split-face study showing that its Advanced Regenerative Serum (ARS) outperformed a three-product skincare regimen across six of seven evaluated aesthetic parameters, while matching its performance on the seventh.

The study compared ARS against a routine combining vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and peptide serums in women with mild-to-moderate facial aging. Evaluated by a blinded dermatologist, the single-serum approach demonstrated greater improvements in radiance, skin roughness, elasticity, plumpness, fine lines, and overall skin quality, while maintaining comparable hydration and skin barrier support. Participants also reported a preference for the simplified one-step regimen.
“This was some of the strongest data I’ve seen from a split-face study,” said Dr. Carolyn Jacob, the study’s blinded investigator. “I was blown away when I saw these results.”
