Cynosure Lutronic has launched its next-generation XERF monopolar radiofrequency (RF) skin tightening platform across Europe, expanding access to its non-invasive aesthetic technology following adoption in the U.S. and Asia-Pacific.
XERF is designed to deliver two RF frequencies — 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz — in a single treatment shot, allowing clinicians to target multiple tissue depths, including superficial, mid-dermal and deeper structural layers. The platform aims to improve skin firmness and rejuvenation with minimal discomfort and no needles or downtime.

The European launch follows consumer research commissioned by Cynosure Lutronic showing strong demand for non-invasive aesthetic treatments. The survey of more than 4,700 adults across Europe and Saudi Arabia found that 67% of respondents preferred treatments without needles, while long-lasting results were the leading factor influencing interest in skin tightening procedures.
XERF features dual-frequency delivery, adjustable depth and energy settings, WaveFit™ Pulse technology for controlled energy distribution, and integrated cryogen cooling to protect the skin during treatment.
Nikhil Nathwani of Cynosure Lutronic said:
“XERF has earned an outstanding reputation in the United States and across the Asia-Pacific region, where it has been adopted by leading practitioners. The appetite we have seen ahead of this launch has been remarkable.”
The launch strengthens Cynosure Lutronic’s position in the growing non-invasive skin rejuvenation market, as consumers increasingly seek natural-looking results through energy-based aesthetic treatments.
